James Woodrow Jowers age 75 of Thomasville, AL died Sunday, February 3, 2013 at his home. He was born February 22, 1937 in Nanafalia, AL. Mr. Jowers was an equipment operator with the State of Alabama Highway Department. He is survived by his wife, Murray Jean Jowers of Thomasville, AL.; two sons, James Willis “Bubba” (April) Jowers of Surginer, AL; Ronald Woodrow (Kayla) Jowers of Scyrene, AL; five daughters, Shanda (Jake) Epp of Santa Fe, NM; Niki (Michael) Jowers of Thomasville, AL; Sandy (Cecil) Jowers of Jackson, AL; Mary Jowers of Thomasville, AL; Leigh (Curtis) Barnes of Dickinson, AL; 5 grandchildren. Visitation will be held at O’Bryant Chapel Funeral Home on Tuesday, February 5, 2013 from 10:00 am until the 11:00 am service time with Rev. Hal Taylor and Rev. Clifford Moore officiating. Burial will be at Old Union Baptist Church Cemetery in Sweet Water, AL. Arrangements by O’Bryant Chapel Funeral Home in Thomasville, AL.
