Robert Allen Grimes age 58 of Thomasville, AL died February 13, 2013 at Prattville Baptist Hospital. He was born August 7, 1954 in Elberton, GA. Robert was a millwright superintendent with Burkes Mechanical. He is survived by his wife, Gwen S. Grimes of Thomasville, AL; son, Jacob Allen Grimes of Valley Grande, AL; daughter, Chelsea Elizabeth Grimes of Thomasville, AL; mother, Nora Mae Grimes of Elberton, GA; 2 brothers Rex Grimes and Roger Grimes of Elberton, GA. He was preceded in death by his father, Carl Allen Grimes Visitation will be held at O’Bryant Chapel Funeral Home on Saturday, February 16, 2013 from 1:00 pm until the 2:00 pm service time with Rev. Ty Parten officiating. Burial will be at Choctaw Corner Cemetery in Thomasville, AL. Arrangements by O’Bryant Chapel Funeral Home in Thomasville, AL.
