Katie Dell Brunson age 84 of Chilton, AL, died December 19, 2014 at USA Medical Center. She was born March 28, 1930 in Chilton, AL. She was a retired seamstress and a member of the Hopewell Baptist Church. She is survived by her daughter, Jacque B. Henson of Thomasville, AL; two brothers, Elroy Pugh of Mt. Vernon, AL; and Melvin Pugh of Chilton, AL; two sisters, Marjorie Pearl Britton of Birmingham, AL; and Vera Bell Brunson of Chilton, AL; four grandchildren, Julie Henson of Brewton, AL; Jeremy (April) Henson of Thomasville, AL; Scott (Tiffany) Henson of Thomasville, AL; and Jennifer Henson of Thomasville, AL; three great grandchildren, Baily Grace Henson, Becca Henson, and Kylee Henson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Shay Brunson, son in law, John E. Henson. grandson, Jason P. Henson Visitation will be held at Hopewell Baptist Church on Sunday, December 21, 2014 from 1:00 pm until the 2:00 pm service time with Rev. Don White officiating. Burial will be at Smith Cemetery at Grove Hill, AL. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Hopewell Baptist Church or Smith’s Cemetery.
