Samuel Franklin “Tetot” Gates age 78 of Thomasville, AL died January 12, 2015 at Mobile Infirmary. He was born December 18, 1936 in Thomasville, AL. He was a heavy equipment operator with Scotch Lumber Company. He is survived by his wife, Dixie Gates, five children, Jessie Gates, Frank Gates, James Gates, Shauna White, and Robin Gates, sister, Minnie Lou Young, brother, Shelton Gates, sisters, Alice Gates, and Janie Wilson, 14 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his grandchild, Brendan Drinkard. Memorial services will be announced at a later time. Arrangements by O’Bryant Chapel Funeral Home.
