Jack Olen Kerby, Sr., age 86 of Demopolis, AL., died February 22, 2015 at Woodhaven Manor Nursing Home. He was born May 4, 1928 in Henagar, AL. He was a retired Dean of Instruction and farmer, a retired Lieutenant Colonel of the US Army. Jack was also a member of Demopolis First United Methodist Church, the Demopolis Rotary Club and the American Legion. He is survived by his wife, Joyce Lewis Kerby of Demopolis, AL; son, Jack Olen Kerby, Jr. of Demopolis, AL; two daughters, Lucinda K. Mason of Demopolis, AL; and Victoria K. Justice of Huntsville, AL; sister, Sybil K. Lea of Rossville, GA; 7 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Complete funeral arrangements will be announced later.
